The procedure is relatively straightforward and standard in length, but also highly effective. Implant-supported fixed dental prosthesis is a bridge in which a replacement tooth or teeth are permanently joined to a dental implant(s) used as the anchorage for the replacement tooth or teeth.

The dental implant can be inserted inside the jawbone and will then integrate and grow. When the dentist has strengthened and shaped the natural-looking replacement tooth, it will be placed into position and fixed into place using the dental implant.
